Onda Nazaré
Hoje começa a "The New York Times Travel Show" e Portugal estará representado na feira. Nazaré conta com a presença do surfista Garret McNamara, que tornou as ondas da localidade conhecidas internacionalmente.
Este evento é considerado para muitos a maior feira mundial de turismo e irá decorrer até ao próximo dia 2 de Março no Jacob K. Javits, em Manhattan.
Walter Chicharro, Presidente da Câmara Municipal, considera que a presença da localidade na feira tem como principal objectivo a internacionalização da marca "Nazaré" num mercado por explorar.
Este poderá ser um passo importante na internacionalização da Nazaré, a presença de McNamara foi uma estratégia inteligente de marketing, que pode trazer uma outra notoriedade ao destino. Como especialista na área do surf McNamara era a pessoa ideal para apoiar na promoção deste destino, não só porque já lá esteve, mas também por ser apaixonado pela cultura portuguesa.

Today the "The New York Times Travel Show" starts, and Portugal will be represented on this event. Nazaré will count on Garret McNamara that spread the waves of this village known internationally.
This event is one of the biggest tourism fairs in the world and it will be taking place until the 2nd March on Jacob K. Javits, Manhattan.
Walter Chicharro, Mayor of the city hall, considers that the presence of Nazaré in the fair has as a purpose to internationalize the brand of the village in a new unexplored market.
This could be an important step in Nazaré's internationalization, and the presence of McNamara was an inteligent marketing campaign, that can bring another power to the destination.
