A Hotelandia é um projecto de jornalistas e cronistas, que avaliam a qualidade da hotelaria portuguesa. Apenas são publicados textos sobre locais onde efectivamente estiveram a dormir. Toda as informações divulgadas são as mesmas que dariam a um amigo. No fundo o que pretendem é promover o bom turismo português e dar a conhecer a nossa oferta. E por isso transmitem tudo o que seja de bom e mau numa unidade. Se algo não correu bem na estadia, escrevem sobre isso, de forma justa e imparcial.
Estes "especialistas" estão habituados a escrever para as principais revistas de viagens e jornais portugueses.
Filipe Morato Gomes, um dos fundadores da Hotelandia, diz que desde que começaram a fazer sucesso e a ser reconhecidos, têm recebido bastantes convites, mas nem todos os espaços se enquadram nos parâmetros que procuram.

Hotelandia is a project where journalists
evaluate the quality of Portuguese hospitality. The guests introduce texts
about hotels where they have been. All the information is exposed as if you
were talking to a friend. Deep down they intend to promote good Portuguese
tourism and to let know our offer. That is why they pass the good ad the bad
information in a hotel unit. If something isn't right they write about it in a
fair and impartial way.
These people are used to write for the
main magazines of travel and Portuguese newspapers.
Filipe Morato Gomes, one of the starters
of Hotelandia, says since they start having success and being recognized, they
have been receiving invitations, but not all have the parameters that they look
for.
